The Calm after the Storm
Saturday was a really tough day at work. I worked around 15 hours straight and at one point it muct have been hotter than the sun in the kitchen. It really was that bad. It's really took it out of me, to the point that even today, the day of rest was tough going. I have felt so lothargic all day, I even had a 2 hour kip at around 4pm.
I wasn't at5 work tonight as Sunday is my only full day off. I had chance to inspect the new car of mine, and the wound on my finger! I have took photos of each for you to inspect.
I love the new car! As I said in the last post, it's a 'Renault Clio LR 1.2 Versailles'. I really wanted to drive it today but I don't have it taxed at the moment. I can't even go to post office first thing either becuase I dont have the insurance documents through yet. Am going to try and do it by phone tommorow though as heard it's possible. It's really nice inside, much nicer than my last. Infact, it's all around a step up from my Fiesta. Unlike the Fiesta, it sports a sunroof and cigarette lighter, which will give hours of added pleasure;)
Will have to see how long it takes to get used to driving it though eh? An added bonus, is that the insurance with 'Norwich Union Direct', has more than halved on renewal for the coming year, which is definetley a 'Brucey Bonus'!
The photo is a bit blurry, but that's what you get for a 45 gbp digital camera;) Its actually worse than what it looks as the photo doesn't quite reveal the true extent of the near fatal injury. The little guy didn't stop bleeding for around 24 hours which was obviously quite concerning. It appears that it's finally on the mend though which is quite good news as it is proving to be quite an annoying little gash.
Saw this bit of artwork in a modern art gallery in Cork the other week, just thought you might want to comment on it, would be good to hear from you. It was on sale for 9,000 gbp. They didn't give credit so I didn't purchase.
