Hello, Goodbye Jimmy!

This is Jimmy the Hamster, I have only had him for about 10 hours but already he is going back to where came from. Still living at home, I don't think my mum approves of a rodent in the house. I tried to assure her that it wouldnt cause her any problems whatsoever but she wasn't having any of it. Poor old Jimmy is going back home. Is a shame because I got quite attached to him very quickly.

Its a bit of a work all day today unfortunatley, I have to cater for 4o people in the day. Infact, 40 hungry Belgians. On the night, we also have a barbecue on, for a Birthday I believe. So a bit of a non-stop day I anticipate. I cut my finger pretty seriously last night so might have some problems today, making it difficult to work. I have a massive dressing on it. I was peeling carrots with a brand new peeler and accidentally peeled off half the nail on my thumb and quite a bit of flesh underneath. Ill get the camera on it for a pic asap, dont worry yourselves!

The good news however, is that I managed to get my hands on a new car. It's a green 'Renault Clio LR 1.2 Versailles'. Sounds good but I am still yet to see it. It is being delivered by the seller today. My dad viewed it for me last night while I was at work and he says its pretty snazzy. Looking forward to seeing the car tonight. Can't wait!

This is the bed I was talkin to you about earlier, the mattress in the corner of the room! However, I wish I was in there now. Have just managed to crawl out of it 20 minutes ago, to make this post before I crawl off to work.

Good luck to everyone invloved with 'the live 8 concert'. It seems a long shot, but I really do hope it makes some kind of positive impact. Will be a spectacle nevertheless!

Have a really nice Saturday everyone! And to everyone in England, enjoy todays weather because I've heard it ain't going to be too clever tommorow or day after.

That's a shame about the hamster. We had a rat for years, she was cool.

I did something similar working at the kitchens of my local. But I cut the skin between my thumb and first finger which is the WORST place to do so.

Hehehe cool bed, with alll your remotes right near you lol.

Woooaahh, a new car! I really should read ALL of your posts =P

You'll have to come round and take it for a spin to hornsea, when you have it insured of course.
